I regularly collaborate with DoP Thomas Pilling to conceive and bring concepts to life across short films, TV, and social adverts. My portfolio features work for well-known clients such as Virgin Experience Days, Big Smoke Brewing Co, Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs, and Vintage Cash Cow (see below). From developing ideas to directing, producing, and occasionally acting, I’m involved in every stage of the process. Together, Tom (https://www.thomaspilling.co.uk) and I have earned multiple award nominations and accolades for our work, including my Best Actress award (see the bottom of the page).

Creative
During my career as both a freelance and in-house agency graphic designer, I have specialised in pitch deck design and creation, honing this skill particularly during my time at Space City, a small TV and online advertising agency. These projects are often referred to as creative decks, pitch decks, director treatments, or presentations. While my preferred software for designing these publications is InDesign, given Adobe's status as the industry standard, I am also highly skilled in creating them using Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides.
decks
Above all, I am a designer and trusted branding partner, working both freelance with individual clients and in collaboration with design agency Westhill Communications and TV advertising house Space City. I create for both household names and emerging brands new to creative development. I am passionate about working closely with my clients to help develop their brands in a way that best aligns with their goals and vision.
A little bit
about me
A Little About Me:
Hi, I’m Frankie Price – a London-based creative and graphic designer. During my career, working both freelance and in-house as a creative, I’ve specialised in: Creative Conception – Narrative-led concept creation for adverts/videos, animation, 2D design campaigns and more. Directing and Producing – Directing TV adverts, fictional short films, and social media/web videos, often crafting the creative narrative myself or collaborating within a team. I’ve also acted as a producer on self-initiated projects and high-budget TV sets. Brand Identities – Designing and developing brand identities, including visual guidelines, logo creation, and cohesive branding strategies. Digital and Print Design – Creative decks, publications, posters, brochures, email newsletters, web banners, social media assets, infographics, and marketing collateral. Illustration – Producing digital artwork and storyboards, as well as being capable of analogue illustration when required. Motion Graphics and Animation Assets – Designing assets for animations and motion graphics projects. Graphic Prop Design – Creating on-set deliverables, sets, and props for TV commercials and productions. Out-of-Home (OOH) Design – Developing billboards for global campaigns and JCDecaux outlets, event promotional banners, and exhibition stands. Adapting Designs – Refining creative work based on feedback and effectively addressing design challenges, whether involved from the start or brought in midway through the project. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I’m passionate about visual storytelling with a clear purpose, no matter the medium, timeframe, budget, or stage of the creative process I’m involved in and, of course, always accompanied by a Yorkshire brew!

Branding
Design
Over the past seven years, I have undertaken numerous visual identity and brand design projects, both freelance and in-house. The scope of these projects varied widely, ranging from creating branding and guidelines from scratch to designing websites, proof-of-concept logos, palettes, and digital presences. Here are some of the deliverables from those projects.
Space City Branding:
Brand guideline deck
Credentials deck 2021
Credentials deck 2024
Logos

My role
As the sole designer at Space City, I developed their first-ever brand guidelines, crafting a visual identity from scratch while preserving key brand elements. This involved defining the brand’s mission and values, establishing tone of voice, designing the logo with usage rules, selecting primary and secondary colour palettes, and choosing typography, alongside guidelines for iconography, image style, and merchandise branding. These assets were consolidated into a single document, which became the foundation for other branded materials, including credentials, the website, document templates, and email signatures. Given Space City's B2B focus, I aimed to keep the branding timeless, professional, and consistent, avoiding overly ‘trendy’ elements,
as their role is to promote other brands and their identities.

Thomas Pilling Branding:
Brand pitch deck
Logos

My role
I recently teamed up with Thomas Pilling, a Director of Photography, to create a brand identity that truly reflects his freelance journey. Having recently left his full-time role, Thomas wanted to step away from his previous company’s branding and build something entirely his own. I wanted to design a look that felt clean and classic, letting his impressive portfolio in TV commercials, social media content, and photography speak for itself—but with a youthful, modern edge to match his energy and creativity. Together, we developed a brand tone that suited his style, designed his logo, set up a fresh colour palette, and paired a modern serif header with a crisp sans-serif font for body text. The main aim was balancing professionalism with a contemporary twist.
All of this came together in his very first credentials deck, where his services, client list, and years of experience now have a fresh, cohesive identity to represent them.
Amanda Alexander Branding:
Website design

My role
Amanda Alexander is a highly talented musician and composer based in London, whom I had the pleasure of meeting through my role at Space City. She commissioned me to create a simple website to establish her online presence, which meant designing her entire visual identity from the ground up. This included creating her logo, selecting a colour palette, defining the layout, establishing her tone of voice, choosing typography, and selecting photography. I’m especially proud of the ‘double-A’ logo, which draws inspiration from the look of musical notes.
This project was less collaborative than my previous branding work, giving me a more independent role and full creative licence – a refreshing change that allowed me to take complete ownership of the creative process.

We-Logo animation

My role
During my time as an in-house graphic designer at Westhill Communications, we aimed to refresh the company website. Each designer proposed a potential new design, with the selected option potentially driving a company-wide rebrand. While the final choice was a more straightforward update of the existing branding rather than a complete overhaul, I ensured my proposal demonstrated how the aesthetic could support a full rebrand.
My pitch included designing a logo from scratch, creating a website layout mock-up, and developing brand elements such as shapes, a colour palette, and more. Additionally, I designed an animation highlighting the "We" in "Westhill" as a key brand icon and incorporated arrows as a signature visual element, echoing the text weight of the logo. This work aimed to establish a unified and distinctive identity for Westhill Communications. See the animation to the left.
Editorial design
In addition to creative decks, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of editorial projects for some of the UK’s most recognisable names. Recently, I’ve designed everything from brochures and magazines to newsletters, business cards, leaflets, posters, and infographics. It’s been a pleasure collaborating with fantastic clients such as Openreach, UKHSA, the Cabinet Office, MSI Reproductive Choices, and many more.

Animations
A UKHSA commisioned 6-minute video translated into over 12 languages, designed for internal use by prison staff to explain the importance of vaccinations in prisons and how they work.
A short animated web banner reimagining ITV's in-house designer's 2D artwork. I received the flattened design, restructured it into layers optimised for animation, and created a piece promoting their bonus sacrifice programme.
A short animated web banner designed to transform ITV's in-house 2D artwork into a dynamic moving image. Working from the flattened design, I separated and restructured the elements into layers optimised for animation, creating a piece to promote their Take Small Steps initiative.
I designed Quidco's OOH tube billboard to be seen at two of London's busiest tube stations. I created a time-lapse video with DoP Thomas Pilling at Tottenham Court Road station.
Collaborative project MSI animation advertising their online portal. My role included animating text and selecting stock visuals to animate to.

Process
What Are They?
Care. If I don't why should your customers?
Collect. Lets do a bit of research.
Conceive. Brainstorm and strategies.
Create. Bring those ideas to life.
Conclude. Is it everything you imagined and more?
O3 Conceive:
Once I know all that. I can start to conceive ideas, concepts, strategies on how to meet your brief and exceed your expectations.
O1 Care:
No matter what your project is I have to care about it, if I don’t care, why should your customers? That’s why we begin the process of getting to know each other with a brief. But ultimatly there is only one real question - What’s the problem we’re trying to solve?
O4 Create:
So now that we’ve agreed on a plan to act on, an idea to chase, an objective to follow… I create it! Keeping you informed throughout every decision and process.
O2 Collect:
After I know the answer, I get to work on collecting as much intel as I can. I get to know you, your audience, your goals, and then I find out what makes you different to others in your field.
O5 Conclude:
“If you build it, they will come” - meaning now that it’s created, we take a look back at how its working. Is everything working as you imagined?
